Mission

The mission of the Wisconsin Certified Public Manager® Program is to contribute to the continuous improvement of public services by providing an educational program offered on an in-service basis to current government and non-profit employees.

The Certified Public Manager Program is committed to:

Contributing to the professional development of Wisconsin’s public sector employees;
Sharing the educational resources of the University of Wisconsin System;
Strengthening the capacities of Wisconsin’s state, county, and municipal governments to carry out their responsibilities; and
Serving as the knowledgeable and well-informed voice in Wisconsin on all matters relating to inservice public sector training and education.
